Content Policy
We created Gwoup to provide a simple way for anyone to create and manage public and private groups and communities of all sizes.
Our Content Policy and Terms of Use ensures that everyone can express themselves but not at the expense of anyone else.
As such, all groups are expected to adhere to the Gwoup Terms of Use as well as the content policies outlined below.
Prohibited Content
The following content is prohibited in all groups, communities and sites created through or using the Gwoup platform including (but not limited to) content that is:
- Content that is illegal or unlawful or in any way violates the law
- Content that encourages illegal, unlawful or criminal conduct or activity that violate the law
- Content that contains threatening, harassing or abusive statements or comments
- Content that is libelous, defamatory or violates the rights of others
- Content that invades the privacy or security of others
- Content that contains private or personal information of others
- Content that contains pornographic or obscene material
- Content that infringes on another's trademarks or intellectual property
Disabled Gwoups
If a gwoup is marked as DISABLED, it was likely taken down due to either:
- Gwoup received a legal complaint from a third party such as a trademark or copyright holder.
- A manual action taken by a Gwoup staff member who determined the gwoup violated our Content Policy and/or Terms of Use.
- An automatic action taken by internal Gwoup moderation systems.
To address this, please review our Content Policy and Terms of Use and then make any required changes to bring your gwoup back into compliance.
Once your all policy violations have been resolved, Report Them to request a manual review. If our staff determines your gwoup is back in compliance, your gwoup will be reactivated.
Content Policy Violations
If you come across an account, gwoup or content that appears to break our Content Policy or Terms of Use, please Report Them to us!
